WWR is a well-established and reputable hunting outfitter that has been in business since 1998. Our trophy exotic game hunts offer clients a Texas hunting safari experience for self-sustaining herds of a variety of beautiful species on our private ranch in South Texas. Most exotic trophies taken on our ranch qualify for SCI and TGR medal quality status. Guests may also add exotic game hunts to any other hunting packages we offer. 

Exotic game species from the India and African continents thrive in the South Texas brush country for two substantial reasons. Our habitat and climate are similar to their native lands where hunting for these species is either limited, no longer permitted, dangerous, or they are extinct. Secondly, because of their recreation value and hunting value, these animals are cherished by landowners who are incentivized to see ensure their sustainability for the long term.

Trophy exotic game hunts are offered at the WWR are Addax Antelope, Axis Deer Hunt, Fallow Deer, Gemsbok Oryx, Nilgai Antelope, Kudu Antelope, Nilgai, Fallow, Sable Antelope, Scimitar Oryx, and Zebra.  

All exotic hunting packages include:

• 2 nights luxury lodging
• 4 hunts conducted over 3 days
• 1 guide per hunter or 1 guide per two hunters
• Quality meals & nonalcoholic beverages
• BYOB (setups provided)
• Game field dressing and handling
• Transportation of trophy and meat to local meat processor & taxidermist

*Non-hunters are welcome, at a fee of $250 per day.
